Learning Methods

Learners’ time will be split between being taught at one of our training centres by our experienced tutors and learning on site with their employer. Being on a live building site encourages the learners to develop their skills under the expert supervision of site managers and to learn from other experienced team members.

Assessment Methods

Our assessors make regular visits to the site to check on progress and to hear how the apprentice’s and employer’s relationship is developing. They adhere to our very strict quality and compliance guidelines as well, to ensure the highest possible standards of care and achievement.

Career Opportunities

UK Construction Centre has links with some of the most established building companies in the country. We’re proudly developing relationships with organisations of all sizes to ensure that we have opportunities to suit as many of our learners as possible. Everyone is different; some may thrive working for a sole trader, while others may prefer being part of a larger team.

Entry Requirements

All we ask is that the young people applying for our apprenticeships are committed to learning and passionate about beginning their career in construction.

"Rory came to us and immediately got on with his tasks. We started off giving him minimal tasks like sawing and working on door frames but we realised pretty quickly that it wasn’t challenging enough for him. He developed very quickly; we were really impressed at the quality of his work"
